Femilift Co2 Vaginal Rejuvenation

Vaginal Health Clinic at JR Medical in Southend-on-Sea, Essex

Every woman deserves to have a comfortable and satisfying feminine life but, we totally understand that for a great majority of women this is not possible after childbirth or mainly around menopause. You may not even realise that something is wrong, let alone even thinking about finding a way or a remedy to help the situation. It is worth to mention that having anatomical or physiological sexual dysfunction could dramatically affect the relationship between partners and led to unreasonable strain or even separation.

One of the treatments that could help with this problem dramatically is Femilift.

What is Femilift?

Femilift is a quick and safe non-surgical intervention which helps with a variety of women health issues like, stress urinary incontinence (STU), vaginal dryness, vaginal laxity, recurring infection and more. Femilift helps to subsidise these symptoms whether they are due to childbirth, menopause, cancer treatment or hormone deficiency.

How does Femilift work?

Femilift is an FDA approved minimally invasive non-surgical Pixel CO2 laser which does not require general anaesthesia and has minimum downtime.

Who could benefit from Femilift?

Any woman who had been facing some sort of issue in the genital area after childbirth or even around menopause could benefit from Femilift.

What are the requirements before treatment?

You need to make sure you have an up to date Pap smear according to regulation in any country it varies so in U.K. you should have a clear Pap smear in last five years unless stated differently by your midwife at a GP practice. You are also expected not to be on your menstruation period and clear and haven’t had sex the day before the procedure.

What to expect on the day of treatment?

With Femilift, we have two different modes of treatment, manual and automatic which the choice or the method depends on the practitioner on the day of treatment. After preparing you, the probe would gently get inserted into your vagina and the laser would be triggered. You might feel a slight sense of heat or tingling. You probably would feel the heat more when the probe is withdrawing.

On the night of the treatment, you feel a bit discharge and that’s it. No sex for a week after treatment.

For maximum results, treatment has to be repeated 3 times, one month apart.

We might propose to combine your treatment with HRT or Bioidentical hormone treatment depending on your choice.
