Be Fresh Faced This Winter

Be Fresh Faced This Winter

With the harsh winter weather fast approaching, don't allow your skin to suffer. There is much you can do to ensure that you maintain a refreshed and bright look.

Achieving this doesn’t have to be costly or hard. It also doesn't have to be complicated or make us worried that it might harm us in other ways. Buying a new outfit or having a new hairstyle can be mood-elevating but by experience, we have found out that it’s lines and wrinkles on the face that bother us more than other things. We tend not to realise that having bright, well hydrated and glowing skin could be a good starting point. Therefore, why not start the spring fresh-faced with our favourite minimally invasive aesthetic procedures and see how it makes you feel?

Below you will have a list of different minimally invasive treatments that could give you the fresh face without the hassle of having to break the bank. Bear in mind that they all have different time frames for how long they will last and what they will do. The information below will give you some options that you may want to explore further.

IPL Skin Rejuvenation

The IPL skin rejuvenation helps to stimulate your body’s own natural processes to form new collagen and elastin. These natural sources, unfortunately, diminish with age and that’s the reason behind developing fine lines and wrinkles. The treatment is done by having blasts of pure light with specific wavelength shone onto the skin. With this treatment, there is no recovery time needed, you can apply makeup straight away and be back to work. You may just be left with some redness following the treatment.

Mesotherapy

Mesotherapy is a minimally invasive anti-ageing procedure. This procedure is tailor-made and targets individual skin concerns with potent microinjections of medicines, vitamins, antioxidants and amino acids. When receiving the treatment at a doctor’s practise, the product is injected into the mesoderm (the middle layer of the skin) rather than being applied on the surface by beauticians and, therefore, can both directly and more potently work on the targeted area. Mesotherapy can be used for a number of different concerns such as; to reduce cellulite, to treat acne or treat rosacea to boost skin rejuvenation or skin tightening, for treatment of melasma or hyperpigmentation or among most popular ones to promote hair regrowth.

Chemical Peels

A number of different acids are used to soften or ablate the top layer of the skin in order to achieve a smooth, clear appearance and texture. These acids range from mild fruit acids to moderate glycolic or strong TCA and phenol. A chemical peel can help to remove or soften the effects of sun damage, acne scarring or age-related or premature fine lines and wrinkles. This works by being applied to the face of the client and left on for a varied amount of time, as needed. It then removes the top layer whilst regenerating new tissues resulting in smoother, brighter and less wrinkled skin.

Medical Grade Microdermabrasion

I always say no facial could be compared to a professional microdermabrasion.

With a facial you would get a very relaxing face massage and application of some good topical products on the surface of the skin, whilst if you are intending to have an entry-level facial treatment then you should look at a Microdermabrasion which gently removes  the top layer of your skin with the sterilised aluminium hydroxide crystals as well as vacuuming the dead layers at the same time . This not only gently removes the top layer of the skin but also gives a very good lymphatic drainage.

We also mostly include a chemical peel in our medical-grade microdermabrasion which makes the effectivity of the treatment longer as well as brightness more.
